Vicutu Concept Flagship Store

Mo Zheng

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Vicutu Concept Flagship Store by Mo Zheng Vicutu Concept is a flagship store for a fashion brand, built in the Daxing District of Beijing. The store has two floors and a total area of 1680 square metres. The facade uses a large-scale three-dimensional aluminium woven system, produced by bending and flexing aluminium sheets into doubly curved shapes. The woven form refers to the weaving of fabric and the tailoring of garments. Inside, textured cement walls, display counters and hidden light sources create a continuous sculptural space. A diagrid pattern is repeated on floors, walls and pedestals.
