The Floating Ribbon Office Space

Interior Space and Exhibition Design The Floating Ribbon Office Space by Maia Mai Atelier Limited The Floating Ribbon is an office interior created as a headquarters management hub for a company operating ports on five continents. The workspace occupies a linear warehouse building by the waterfront, where five teams share one open plan. A large curved ceiling element, called the Floating Ribbon, unifies the communal areas and links the teams together. The open ceiling is spray-painted navy blue above the shared spaces and dark grey above the work zones. Furniture is integrated with the central row of columns.
