Idea and Conceptual Design Glowing Eustoma Lamps by Yen-Hsun Su Glowing Eustoma is a living flower lamp created as a conceptual lighting design. The eustoma is a flower that appears green in daylight and gives off light at night. A biotechnology process allows the plant to glow through leaf vein absorption of high-entropy oxides, which are in line with European Union standards. No genetic modification is used, and the flower grows in the same way as a natural one. Several luminous colors are shown each night. The flower measures 50 mm in width, 50 mm in depth and 350 mm in height. The intent is to offer a calm experience at night.
