Beyond Appearances Art Paint Showroom

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Beyond Appearances Art Paint Showroom by Hyeming Tam Beyond Appearances is a showroom for artistic paint located in Chaozhou, Guangdong, China. The interior uses diverse artistic coatings to translate the imagery of classical Chinese gardens in an abstract way. Light and shadow, changing views and flowing space express the idea of seeing the whole in the part. The ceiling height is lowered on one side, which guides visitors along the planned route. An existing column that could not be removed is supported by two added columns and blended into the surface texture. The tranquil layout presents the paint products in a poetic setting.
