Rotating Table Service Robot

Robotics, Automaton and Automation Design Rotating Table Service Robot by Qian Hongliang Rotating Table is a meal delivery robot designed for restaurants. Many service robots use fixed multi-layer trays, so staff must bend over or squat down to place and collect plates. Rotating Table uses rotatable plates and has two working states, one for transport and one for serving on arrival. Two sets of pulleys turn the upper and lower plates together while the middle plate stays stable, so the food remains level. A touch screen controls delivery, flipping, music, recording and information. Ambient lights and a silver finish complete the design.
