The Pebble Street Lighting

Street Furniture Design The Pebble Street Lighting by Gizem Deniz Guneri Pebble is a street lighting element designed for urban public spaces. The rounded shape recalls a natural pebble and can be placed vertically or horizontally. In the horizontal position Pebble also works as seating, while the vertical position offers a leaning support. Light is emitted from a slit on the levelled surface, giving low-level illumination that reduces light pollution. The body is made of a cement-based composite that reuses sludge waste from the cutting of andesite stone. Pebble is about 60 cm high and 40 cm wide.
