Interior Space and Exhibition Design Time of Nature Interior Design by Tian Rui Time of Nature is a residential interior design for a four-story house in a quiet alley of Shanghai. Each floor has its own theme: a dining and reception area, a reading and meditation space, a relaxed drinking space, and a calm bedroom space. Curves shape the ceilings, the stair handrail and the wall corners. Large old steel windows on the north and south sides bring in natural light. Old wood and antique furniture give the rooms a natural and historical character. The original ceiling was removed to reveal the pitched roof, which was relaid with old wood.
