Yaki Gentle Restaurant

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Yaki Gentle Restaurant by Ju Yu Wu Yaki Gentle is a grill restaurant in Taipei. The interior recalls a European opera house through winding pathways, curved walls, arched doorways, high ceilings and red curtains. Theater-style booths line both sides, while the central area remains open for a spacious feeling. Symmetrical and asymmetrical elements create visual balance within a Victorian inspired framework. Materials include decorative high pressure laminate with a marble effect, molding, woodwork, water based paints and PVC flooring. Downdraft vents hidden under the raised floor remove smoke and odors.
