Recombination Visual Poster Design

Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Recombination Visual Poster Design by Sinong Ding Recombination is a series of posters about extinct animals. Each poster places a detailed illustration of an extinct animal at the visual centre, set against a softened map of the geographic location. Highly saturated colours unify the images and separate the animals from the background. Mechanical circuit patterns are merged with the animal forms to suggest a continuation of life. The posters also present the year of extinction and the main physical features. The intent is to inform viewers and to support the protection of living animals.
