Rong Tea Edge Cabinet

Furniture Design Rong Tea Edge Cabinet by Jun Zhang Rong is a tea sideboard designed for home use. Rong is made of North American black walnut with a clear wood grain. A double-layer octagonal countertop and herringbone struts divide the functional areas by shape. The cabinet body has grille strip sliding doors that move along a track, so no space is needed in front of the unit. Multiple storage areas keep different tea sets in order. The concave countertop surface and the pressure center placed behind the center of gravity prevent tipping. Simple components allow users to assemble the sideboard themselves.
