Manufacturing and Processing Machinery Design Femtoglass Glass Cutting and Dicing Workstation by Desdorp FemtoGlass is a laser workstation for cutting and dicing glass and sapphire. The workstation is used for research work and for high volume manufacturing. Wide access to the working area makes loading and production changes simple. An LED header at the top replaces the standard machine signal light and shows the current operating status. The casing is made of semi-matt sheet metal, and the interior table is made of high quality granite for stability against vibration. FemtoGlass cuts glass from 30 micrometres to 2 millimetres in a single pass.
