Yichang Riverside Park Public Spaces

Landscape Planning and Garden Design Yichang Riverside Park Public Spaces by Jiangsu Architetural Landscape Design Institute Co., Ltd Yichang is a riverside park in Hubei, China, upgraded into a public recreational space along the Yangtze River. The design extends the riverfront road system and the view corridors, and adds seating areas that face the water. Vegetation was rearranged to open the river views and to form lawns and open spaces with public facilities. The park contains an ecological and humanistic area, a dock area and a family play area. Traces of the former dock, including a gantry crane, are kept and given new uses. Blue tones and sculptures refer to the river and to ecological protection.
