Interior Space and Exhibition Design Chuan San Hao Train Hotpot by Y SPACE DESIGN CONSULTING FIRM Chuan San Hao is a hotpot restaurant built from genuine green-skinned train carriages. The carriages stand on parallel tracks laid along a wetland shoreline, so windows frame open views of the landscape. The original exteriors are polished and repainted to keep the authentic structure. The kitchen is placed in the middle carriage, linking passenger and private dining carriages to the north and south. An added intermediate space acts as an airlock, holding insulation, ventilation and a storage room for clothing. Private carriages include VIP and semi-private sections.
