Sky Jade Residence

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Sky Jade Residence by Golden Jade Sky Jade is a 24-story residential building in Taichung City, Taiwan. The design prioritizes green space instead of maximizing building coverage, and greenery is shown on the facade. A glass curtain wall inclined at 7 degrees gives a faceted appearance similar to a cut gemstone, so each facade looks different as sunlight and weather change. A sky garden is placed every three floors. Digital parametric modelling was used to simulate climate, daylight, energy use and structure, supporting a low-carbon design that suits the natural setting.
