Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Visual Design for 2020 - 2024 by XIAOLING DAI Shanghai Symphony Orchestra is a series of annual main visual designs created for the oldest symphony orchestra in Asia, founded in 1879. The series covers the years 2020 to 2024. Each visual image expresses the charm, rhythm, melody, unity and variation of music through abstract flat composition. The curved forms refer to the concert hall, a building with a downward curved roof. Unity and variation in the graphics highlight the arc of the roof. The series is decorative and visually appealing.
