Interior Space and Exhibition Design LuxLinea Ophthalmology Clinic by Tetsuya Matsumoto Lux Linea is an ophthalmology clinic in the Shibuya district of Tokyo, Japan. The clinic covers a gross built area of 250 square meters and has a floor plan shaped as a right trapezoid. Two sides are fully glazed, and bright daylight creates reflections that hide the interior. Illuminated transparent panels answer this problem. The panels are acrylic sheets printed with straight lines and lit at the edges by LED tape. Mirrors on the ceiling and walls repeat the light lines. The panels placed beside the waiting chairs also give patients privacy.
