Architecture, Building and Structure Design Dot Sofia Event Space and Residential Architecture by GEORGI KATOV Dot Sofia is a mixed use building for events and urban living in Sofia, Bulgaria. The two volume structure holds a contemporary art and events space, a signature restaurant and residential units. Dot Sofia stands in the historic market district, an area long linked to trade and neglected in recent decades. The facade is made of rusted steel and recalls the aged materiality of the neighborhood. Oversized shutters open and close, following the rhythm of market life. The building was completed in 2023 and has a gross floor area of 1576 square meters.
