Spiritual Casa Residence

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Spiritual Casa Residence by Meng Chuan Ho Spiritual Casa is a residential interior design for a four-story house of 146 square meters in the countryside of Yilan, Taiwan. The design combines Chinese and Spanish traditions. Triangular wooden beams, Spanish tiles and a kitchen island recall Spanish country architecture. Screens, flowering crabapple motifs and antique coin patterns refer to Asian customs. Hand-woven rattan furniture is made by local artisans with mortise and tenon joints. Grey and milk-tea earth tones create a neutral background, and central islands and cabinets keep the circulation open.
