Residential Building Interior Design

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Residential Building Interior Design by Dipl. Ing. (FH) Christian Gaus Residential Building is an interior design project for a 17th century building on the lake promenade in Ueberlingen, Germany. The building has housed a restaurant since 1957. The renovation preserves the history of the structure and applies sustainable methods. Existing support structures were restored and historic furniture was given a new purpose. Old wooden beams and insignia were integrated into the interior. Shades of blue in the bar area reflect the colors of the lake, and enlarged windows open wide views toward the water.
