Crochet Floor Lamp

Alexey Danilin

Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Crochet Floor Lamp by Alexey Danilin Crochet is a floor lamp inspired by knitting, one of the oldest decorative crafts. The metal structure resembles the interweaving of spokes during knitting, and the flexible light emitting diode cord recalls woolen threads. The matte cord forms a smooth oval, and its weight and bending behavior were studied so that the lamp looks balanced from every angle. The metal tubes are collapsible, and a cast metal element joins them at the center. Placed at the top of the lamp, the cord gives soft light for reading, work and rest.
