Journey Southward Residence

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Journey Southward Residence by Z-work Design Journey Southward is a residential interior design located in Shenzhen, China, covering about 423 square meters. Themes from traditional Chinese landscape painting are combined with refined materials, including pressure-treated art glass, translucent stone, shadow wood veneer and stainless steel. The living room and dining room walls are finished in Roman ivory white travertine, which adds texture, brightness and warmth. Kitchen walls of slate gray stone are polished and cut into smooth wavy surfaces. The design connects modern living with nature and local culture.
