Fine Arts and Art Installation Design Sound Of Body Vocal Visualization Device by Runqi Zou Sound of Body is an interactive art installation that turns the rhythms of the human body into sound and images. Sensors detect the heart rate and breathing of a visitor standing in front of the installation. Algorithms written in Python map the heart rate to musical notes and the breathing rhythm to changes in tempo. The same data is shown as pulsating spheres and rotating patterns synchronized with the audio. Sound of Body makes internal body rhythms both audible and visible, with the aim of supporting self-awareness and relaxation.
