Architecture, Building and Structure Design Reconstruction Project Conversion from Consulate to Villa by Ibrahim Halil TUGBAY Reconstruction Project is the conversion of a former consulate building into a villa in Istanbul. The design creates modern living spaces while preserving the original character of the building. Interiors are renovated, modern design elements are added, and the exterior is tidied. Highly insulated materials support energy efficiency, and acoustically optimized panels improve interior comfort. Building information modeling and computer aided design guided the planning. Open spaces, natural light, and improved indoor flow shape the layout.
