Fine Arts and Art Installation Design Thank You Bouquet Art Installation by Ching Ke Lin The Thank You Bouquet is a site specific bamboo art installation composed of 180 handwoven floral forms. The flowers measure between 600 and 1200 millimetres in diameter and are made with traditional Taiwanese bamboo weaving techniques. High tensile bamboo strips are processed, steamed and woven into petals, while a modular framework provides strength and allows transport and reassembly. Visitors walk among the flowers as sunlight filters through the woven forms and casts shifting patterns of shadow. The work honours frontline workers and offers a quiet space for reflection.
