Architecture, Building and Structure Design DUSITANON Residence by Phaithaya Banchakitikun Baan Dusitanon is a four-story residence with a mezzanine level, located in a busy urban area. The building is enveloped by a facade of vertically aligned and gently twisted louvers made of high-strength aluminum. The louvers screen the interior from outside views while keeping the city visible from within. The facade also acts as a thermal buffer and frames planted areas between the screen and the walls. Each floor places semi-private living areas at the front and bedrooms at the rear. A double-height living space on the fourth floor opens toward the cityscape.
