Furniture Design Ramesh Armchair by Sepideh Bayat Ramesh is an armchair inspired by the poised stance of a gazelle. The chair is composed of two main elements. The rear structure extends from the back legs to the armrests and backrest, forming a continuous arc. The front structure provides stability and is joined with cylindrical wood joints and reinforced rivet connectors. Cup-like armrests and a contoured, segmented backrest support ergonomic comfort. The frame is made of hardwood, shaped by computer controlled milling and refined by hand, while the upholstery is leather.
