North Light Musical Art Center

Architecture, Building and Structure Design North Light Musical Art Center by Meng Zhao The Light of the North is a musical art center in Saynatsalo, Finland. The building has a gross floor area of 2000 square meters and includes a concert hall. The design follows the language of the nearby town hall and adds modern functions for the local community. The entrance facade combines perforated brick walls with a glass curtain wall, and the bricks are set in varied patterns. Curved wooden panels join walls and ceilings, spread natural light softly and improve the acoustics of the concert hall. The center serves children, elderly people and young residents.
