Silent Light Residential House

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Silent Light Residential House by Jian You Jhe The Silence of Light is a residential interior design for a 66 square meter home in Taichung City, Taiwan. The layout is open, so cooking, dining and relaxing can flow without rigid boundaries. A low saturation monochromatic palette is combined with titanium coated panels, stone textured surfaces, warm wood flooring and soft fabrics. Layered natural and artificial lighting is used to limit energy consumption and to shape a calm atmosphere. Clean lines, refined edges and seamless transitions support a slower and more mindful way of living.
