Indigo Restaurant

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Indigo Restaurant by MIN REN CO.,LTD. Indigo Restaurant is a dining and cultural interior located along the Li River in Yangshuo, China. The project contains five zones: a flower garden, a slow dining cafe, a cultural venue, a bakery and a fermented cuisine restaurant. Each zone can operate alone or together. Heritage rules prevented changes to the exterior, so the circulation was reorganized inside. Arches unify the columns of the lower level and guide movement. Gray brick, red patterned brick and indigo tones refer to local dyeing craft. A preserved ancient wall frames the distant mountains.
