Vessel in Urban Residence

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Vessel in Urban Residence by Bao Chi Huei Vessel in Urban is a three-story residence designed for multi-generational family living in a busy downtown district. The building is made of fair-faced concrete and clad with large areas of glass paired with wood. Green landscapes are planted in the courtyard, terrace and balconies, and floor-to-ceiling windows bring daylight and views of the plants into every room. Window placement was planned to protect privacy from nearby houses. Natural wood surfaces are finished with a lacquered shine, following traditional lacquerware craft. The construction area is 770 square meters.
