Rising 1 House

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Rising 1 House by Yusuke Tanaka Rising 1 is a two-story wooden house built in Tottori, Japan. The exterior is unified by single-color tiles, which give the building a simple and calm presence. Few windows face the outside, so a high level of privacy is kept. The rooms are arranged in a continuous loop around a central courtyard. From the living, dining and kitchen area, all rooms can be seen across the courtyard. A double-height space and high windows bring soft daylight into the interior. The land area is 305 square meters and the building area is 145 square meters.
