Photography and Photo Manipulation Design Histoires Urbaines Photography Series by Djinane AlSuwayeh Djinane AlSuwayeh grew up in a household that was a concoction of cultures; French and Kuwaiti, Christian and Muslim, European and Middle Eastern. Djinane was born and lived her artistic education in France; a cultural and artistic hub, boasting one of the world’s most creatively experimental capitals and yet was raised in Kuwait what is considered to be a late developing nation, with a sleepy and stagnant Fine Arts sector. Histoires Urbaines is a juxtaposed series of portraits of a city that inspired Djinane's creative process.
