Furniture Design Geometric Lounge Chair/Dining Chair by Gerardo Ríos Altamirano Geometric is a chair designed for lounge and dining use. The frame is made entirely of solid red oak, joined with mortise and tenon connections cut at complex angles. The structure relies on three axes, which gives the chair a light and dynamic appearance while keeping it strong. The seat and the backrest are inclined for comfortable support. The padding combines four layers of foam of different densities with an elastic webbing system, so the cushioning reacts progressively to body weight. The upholstery is made by hand.
