Interior Space and Exhibition Design Residences de Rougemont Holiday homes by Claudia Sigismondi, Andrea Proto Set in the Swiss ski resort of Gstaad, the Residences de Rougemont are the residential annexes of the newly renovated Hotel de Rougemont. The architecture echoes the village’s chalet-only style but, although traditional from the outside, the interiors combine local materials such as timber and stone with contemporary, clean-lined furniture to come up with a fresh look. Reclaimed timber panelling on the walls and ceilings adds warmth and texture and rustic irregularity that contrasts with the smooth glass, metal and marble surfaces.
