Skewed House Residence

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Skewed House Residence by Hardik Shah Skewed is a standalone villa located in Surat, India. The house covers 11,000 square feet and is planned as a series of interconnected vistas. Elements are shifted slightly off the straight line, which creates varied perspectives within the three-dimensional form. Simple aesthetics, a minimal material palette and close connections to nature guide the design. Black granite flooring, concrete and plaster walls, and teak windows and interior woodwork are used throughout. A garden on the first floor is carried by a post tensioned slab and connects with the whole house.
