Hi Ladders High Pavilion

Li Hao

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Hi Ladders High Pavilion by Li Hao Hi Ladders High is a pavilion built at a summer camp of a primary school in Luotian County, Hubei Province, China. The structure consists of twenty independent wooden ladders cut and polished from China fir. Each ladder is stable and has an adjustable angle of inclination, so many spatial combinations are possible. Children without architectural training took part in the whole design and construction process. Common rural objects, such as ladders, transparent tablecloths and cardboard, are given new functions. The pavilion offers an open place for games and camp events.
