Sandane Ping Pong Table

Street Furniture Design Sandane Ping Pong Table by Torgeir Stige Sandane is a public table tennis table designed for an urban park. The frame is made from simple steel plates painted with dark reflective paint. A chain of four wooden spheres works as a crossbeam. The spheres reflect in the paint, so a continuous chain appears to pass through the metal, making the structure seem translucent and light. The metal frame is built from only three unique pieces, which simplifies production and assembly. The design gives a robust piece of street furniture sculptural qualities.
