Interior Space and Exhibition Design Pure Essences Architects Studio by Chong-Yi Chen Pure Essences is an interior design project for an architecture firm in Tainan, Taiwan. The building volumes are gradually recessed, creating balconies that receive ample sunlight for the working areas. Fair-faced concrete and grey slate are used on the exterior and inside, giving a consistent and low-key appearance that matches the surrounding environment. Stone pavers with grass between them improve the water retention of the soil. A small pool and a tree help moderate the temperature. The layout provides smooth circulation and open views toward the garden.
