Happiness with Woods Residential Flat

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Happiness with Woods Residential Flat by Wei-Cheng Tsai and Li-Yung Chen Constituting Happiness with Woods is a residential interior design for a 120 square meter apartment in Taichung. Wood is applied widely on the walls, floors, doors and furniture to create a warm and consistent atmosphere. A large table of solid wood and cast iron is joined to the kitchen island in an L shape and extends toward the window. The rectangular public area is divided symmetrically into a living room and a dining room. A sliding door links the living room to a Japanese style area, so the space can be opened or kept private as needed.
