Strolling House

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Strolling House by MingChun,Hsu Strolling is a residential interior design for a suburban house in Taipei. The layout is divided into three equal parts of 115 square meters each: a garden, a public ground floor and a private bedroom level above. The staircase marks the boundary between the public and private areas. The lower section of the staircase is made of marble to suggest rock and solidity, while the upper section is made of 9 millimeter U-shaped steel plates suspended from the ceiling. Scale, form, material and shadow are used to create a quiet and comfortable space close to nature.
