Design of Complementary Building Sales Centre

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Design of Complementary Building Sales Centre by Jun Tang & Yaozong Han Design of Complementary Building is a facade renovation of a sales centre at the main entrance of the Qin Lake Scenic Area in Taizhou, China. The original outer skin was removed, and the west facade was rebuilt as a wind curtain wall clad in reflective stainless steel, which brightens the narrow passage between the two building volumes. A large canopy marks the entrance and completes the curtain wall. The east facade uses a perforated aluminium curtain wall to enrich light and shadow. The renovation adapts the building for new use as an exhibition hall.
