Absolute Nature Residence

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Absolute Nature Residence by Li-Hsu Tsai Absolute Nature is a residential interior design for a four-story building in Pingtung City, Taiwan. The total area is 245 square meters, including an outdoor garden. The design is inspired by the traditional stone slab house and by local aboriginal arts and crafts. Small original windows were replaced with glass walls, and skylights and high ceilings were added. The central staircase was removed and rebuilt as a single stringer staircase at the end of the building to form an open layout. Cement, glass, driftwood, tiles and recycled timber are used.
