Event and Happening Design Fashion Launderette Installation Space by Hong Kong Trade Development Council Fashion Launderette is a set of themed installation spaces created for a fashion trade fair in Hong Kong. The design covers three areas: a welcome installation in the main foyer, an entrance treatment for the exhibition hall and a 350 square metre multifunctional space for fashion shows, seminars and receptions. The theme is inspired by 1980s laundromat interiors. Decorative walls are built with reusable aluminium systems clad in vinyl graphics, and printed plywood forms the washing machine facades. The colours follow the seasonal fashion trend forecast.
