Interior Space and Exhibition Design Modern Odyssey Installation Spaces by Hong Kong Trade Development Council Modern Odyssey is a set of exhibition installations designed for the foyer and hall entrances of a jewellery trade show in Hong Kong. The theme is drawn from ancient Greek mythology, and each installation refers to one deity, such as Zeus, Poseidon, Hera, Apollo, Artemis or Athena. Allegorical clues are used instead of direct depictions. Walls and columns are built from lightweight metal frames clad with translucent graphic mesh and lit from behind. Bespoke props, lighting and sound complete each space. The lightweight system allows assembly in three days.
