Interior Space and Exhibition Design Innovation Center Kitchen Lab by Ying Chi Huang The Yum China Innovation Center is a 2500 square meter interior design for a food research and development facility in Shanghai, China. The center contains specialized kitchens, a conference room, a packaging design area, offices and a lobby. Each kitchen is planned for efficient, hygienic and comfortable work. Dedicated ventilation, water, power and data systems support the research activities. Ash wood and burl surfaces in gray and white tones create a warm and calm atmosphere. The layout was studied to improve the movement of staff and visitors.
