Fluids Interactive Installation

Interface, Interaction and User Experience Design Fluids Interactive Installation by Kevin Sun (SunGuang) Fluids is an interactive installation that turns projected light into images of flowing liquid. Six high definition projectors cover a projection screen of 32 by 4 meters, and two radar sensors detect touch on the surface. When a visitor touches the screen, the touched position is sent to a computer and the picture reacts at that point. Visitors can also stand quietly within the scene and become part of the image for other viewers. The sequence lasts six minutes and forty seconds. The motion was developed with a computational fluid dynamics model.
