Tranquil Zen Residence

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Tranquil Zen Residence by Derson Chiu Tranquil Zen is a residential interior design completed in Hsinchu County, Taiwan. The layout includes a living and dining area, two bedrooms and a multi-functional room used for meditation and worship. A partition wall behind the television wall was removed to improve the views, the ventilation and the sense of space. Materials include finished concrete, genuine cedar, diatomaceous earth wall texture and timber flooring. Honeycomb curtains control shading and add insulation. The interior joins Japanese Zen style with minimalism to create a calm and simple home.
