Interior Space and Exhibition Design Interwoven Layers Residence by Hung Yu Chen Interwoven Layers is a residential interior design completed in Taipei in 2019. The home is organized along a clear axis, where cabinets and walls form lines that intersect and align to create spatial layers. Open and penetrating elements let air and light pass through the interior, while materials and colors define both ends of the axis. A wide metal-plate ceiling slides beneath a traversing structural beam and becomes the visual focus of the corridor. Rusted metalwork, painted surfaces and an art collection add an artistic atmosphere.
