Hermit Huts Resort Hotel

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Hermit Huts Resort Hotel by Cheng Zhang Hermit Huts is a short-term rental resort hotel set in the mountains of Chongqing. The ten rooms cover a total area of 470 square meters. The exterior follows the thatched hut form once common in the mountains of western China. Interior furniture and fittings are made of old wood, shaped on site by traditional craftsmanship. A three-dimensional layout follows the natural slope and links garden, terrace and indoor space, reducing dampness and improving daylight. The intent is a quiet stay close to nature and away from the city.
