Interior Space and Exhibition Design The Name of Sewing Residential Apartment by Syuan-Ta Chiu The Name of Sewing is a residential apartment interior design of 80 square meters in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The concept was drawn from the homeowner's memories of her father, a cobbler who made boots for her 45 years ago that are still kept in a display cabinet. The homeowner later became a fashion designer, so sewing links father and daughter. Cement surfaces of low chroma highlight the collected objects, while titanium plated panels, a stainless steel frame and glass bricks form the television wall. A trumpet shaped chandelier recalls the father's music.
